Legal Status

1. The university has a legal personality and is a part of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. It is governed by the rules of this ministry and the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in terms of administration and finances. Its credits will be spent under the supervision of the relevant ministry.
2. The headquarters of the university is in Tehran. The establishment of its branches at the national and international levels is subject to the approval of the University Council and the University Board of Trustees, as well as the country's laws and regulations.
