MOUs and Agreements

VUMS collaborates with a number of national and international health organizations to develop, produce, and deliver virtual and blended programs to audiences around the world.

Cyber-Patient

Interactive Health International (IHI), UBC, Canada

The Virtual University of Medical Sciences, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, has signed a memorandum of understanding with CanHealth International Institute to use the Cyber-Patient educational platform, which was developed in collaboration with the University of British Columbia in Canada, in order to achieve international advancement in medical sciences education and regional scientific authority. This platform is available to students, assistants, fellows, and faculty members at five Iranian pilot universities.

NextGenU

VUMS and NextGenU have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on Master's Degrees in public health (MPH) and medical education (MME), employing VUMS and NextGenU.org courses and co-creating courses.

ETS Institute

Concluding an MOU with the ETS Institute to launch and administer TOEFL and GRE tests.

Jahād-e Dāneshgāhi

VUMS and the Jahād-e Dāneshgāhi Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research have signed a collaboration agreement in order to:

• Organize three phases of an online pilot test for Master's Degree entrance exam
• Organize a three-stage comprehensive online test
• Provide test support, to resolve existing issues and needs (resume, questions, alignment, etc.)
• Coordination and follow-up with Jahād-e Dāneshgāhi representative to receive and prepare exam questions
• Create advertisements to introduce exams

City & Guilds

Following the agreement with the exclusive representative of City and Guilds in Iran (GEMS), the international exams were made available to the interested parties as follows:

• Dental Nursing
• Pharmacy Assistant
• Advice and Safe Practice Micropigmentation
• Health and Safety in Hair and Beauty Industry
• Medical Secretaries
