Mission:

The Artificial Intelligence Group in Medical Sciences was established in 2022 in alignment with the policies of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education to promote the application of AI in healthcare. As a leading institution in medical education, research, and the advancement of scientific knowledge, the Smart University of Medical Sciences has taken the initiative to focus on the application of technology and AI in medical sciences. The mission of the Artificial Intelligence Department is to attract students and lead the policymaking and regulation of smart technologies and AI usage in the healthcare system. One of the department's key objectives is to advance approved programs within the National Bioinformatics Network of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRNBioAIMS). These programs aim to analyze medical data, develop diagnostic and treatment processes, expand telemedicine technology, Optimization and intelligent design of industrial processes, including pharmaceuticals and clinical validation, especially in virtual medical education.
