Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi

Deputy of International Affairs of Smart University of Medical Sciences

Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi received his Ph.D. in Health Policy from Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran Iran. He is currently an assistant professor in the school of health management and medical information at Iran University of Medical Sciences where he was formerly the director of the department of public relations and deputy of education of the university’s international campus. He has extensive leadership and managerial experience in various medical and academic institutions. Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi has played a crucial role in the Ministry of Health, Blood Transfusion Organization, and other health-related organizations in Iran over the years. In collaboration with WHO in management capacity building Dr. Ahmadi served as the national facilitator of WHO for the training of hospital managers in IRAN. And has worked as strategic planning & management consultant in many of Tehran’s public & private hospitals.

Dr. Ahmadi’s wide-ranging research interests include hospital management, healthcare policy analysis, strategic planning, marketing in the hospital & pharmaceutical industry, and human resource management in hospitals.
