Islamic Universities Delegation Explores Innovations at Smart University of Medical Sciences
A delegation of university presidents and professors from Islamic countries visited the Smart University of Medical Sciences (SMUMS) during the 4th General Assembly of the CINVU. They explored the university’s advancements in e-learning and toured its cutting-edge augmented and virtual reality lab. The visitors praised SMUMS’s achievements and emphasized the need for stronger academic collaborations among Islamic universities.

As part of the 4th General Assembly of the CINVU, a delegation of distinguished university presidents and professors from Islamic countries visited the Smart University of Medical Sciences (SMUMS) to explore its advancements in e-learning and cutting-edge educational technologies.
The visiting delegation included academic leaders from Hillah University and Pakistan Virtual University, among others. During their visit, they were introduced to SMUMS’s infrastructure and programs by Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi, Vice President for International Affairs.
One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of the university’s state-of-the-art augmented and virtual reality lab, designed to enhance hands-on medical training through advanced technology.
Expressing their admiration for SMUMS’s rapid progress, the delegates emphasized the importance of expanding academic and research collaborations among universities in the Islamic world. They also called for increased cooperation in the development of innovative educational technologies.
