About the Artificial Intelligence Committee

The Artificial Intelligence Committee was established in January 2022 in the Supreme Council of Virtual Medical Education, based on the policies and intentions stated in the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s speech meeting the elites with the aim of developing and implementing Artificial Intelligence advancement program in Medical Sciences and the place of its establishment was the Smart University of Medical Sciences.

Based on the set goals, given that the country should be placed among the top 10 countries regarding the production of knowledge and the application of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence by the year 2031, this committee intends to coordinate, adjust and support the activities related to the smart technologies of the health system at the country level.

Accordingly, the artificial intelligence advancement committee was formed at two levels, the Strategic Council, and the Executive Committee.
