In a recent meeting between SMUMS and Professor Seyed Komial Tayebi, President of the ECO Science Foundation, new opportunities for international collaboration in virtual education and artificial intelligence in healthcare were discussed.
Dr. Hassan Bakhtiari, emphasized the university’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and leveraging advanced technologies to enhance education and healthcare services.
Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi, Vice chancellor for International Affairs at SMUUMS, outlined the university’s future international initiatives, highlighting its efforts to foster academic exchange and cooperation across various countries. He noted that SMUMS has successfully established effective collaborations with the Academy of Health Services and other scientific institutions in Pakistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan in recent years.
During the meeting, Professor Tayebi introduced the upcoming International Conference on Digital Health, set to take place in April in Islamabad. He extended an invitation to SMUMS to participate in the event, emphasizing that the conference will provide a valuable platform for knowledge exchange in technology, agriculture, energy, and particularly healthcare.
Another key topic of discussion was the expansion of e-learning and digital education. Dr. Ahmadi highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in optimizing educational and healthcare processes, stressing SMUMS's dedication to strengthening its global infrastructure in these fields.
