With the cooperation of the Smart University Medical Sciences and representatives of medical universities of the country, selected programs of the AMEE2022 conference are made available to participants from 29-31 Aug.

The second official coordination webinar meeting of the simultaneous broadcast of the AMEE2022 conference was held with the presence of representatives of medical universities of the country. In this meeting, representatives of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences participated in-person in the conference hall of the Smart University of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Seyed Ahmad Ahmadi, Vice Chancellor of the Office of International Affairs of the Smart University of Medical Sciences, while welcoming and thanking the participants, referred to the efforts of the Smart University of Medical Sciences in establishing and developing international communication in the field of medical education. And further expressed hope that we can use the knowledge shared in this conference to develop the science of medical education in the country.

Dr. Bigdeli, the advisor of the International Affairs Department, spoke about the background of this conference and past experiences in this regard. She also referred to the role of the Smart University of Medical Sciences in saving money with the simultaneous broadcast of AMEE 2022 in the country. She expressed hope that this year will see the maximum attendance of experts in the field of medical science education.

 Later in the meeting, Dr. Suleiman Ahmadi, the head of the virtual faculty of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, emphasized on the importance of this great scientific-educational event and its popularity in different countries. “The implementation of this program in the country is very valuable and at the same time difficult. We hope that the experience of holding the simultaneous broadcast of the AMEE2022 conference will be a basis for better planning of this event in the coming years.

In this meeting, the attendees discussed and exchanged opinions and made decisions about the coordination and executive issues and shared their experience and suggestions. Finally, Ms. Arabaninajad explained the use of the platform of this conference and its different sections and provided necessary information to the participants.
