Dr. Arash Khojasteh, chancellor of the Smart University of Medical Sciences, is in the list of the top 2% of most cited researchers in the world.

A new ranking from Stanford University features the world’s top 2% most influential scientists from all areas. This list, compiled using Scopus citation information, is largely considered to be the most prestigious of its type. The ranking lists contain the names of top scientists, doctors, engineers, and mathematicians.
Dr. Khojasteh has a doctorate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a PhD. in tissue engineering and cleft lip fellowship from Belgium. Currently, Dr. Khojasteh is the Chancellor of the Smart University of Medical Sciences, a member of the Faculty of Dentistry and a full professor of Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
