On Sunday, August 4, 2024, Smart University of Medical Sciences hosted a representative from Ahl Al Bayt University of Karbala, marking the beginning of a significant partnership aimed at enhancing scientific and educational collaboration between the two institutions.

During the meeting held on August 4, 2024, at SMUMS, a delegation from Ahl Al Bayt University of Karbala was welcomed. The session, attended by Dr. Ahmad Ahmadi, the International Affairs Vice President of SMUMS, and the representative from Ahl Al Bayt University of Karbala, focused on exploring avenues for academic and scientific cooperation.

The discussions centered on establishing joint programs, student and faculty exchanges, and planning reciprocal visits between the two universities. The primary goal of this collaboration is to elevate the academic standards and leverage the educational capacities of both institutions.

Furthermore, both universities agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the near future. This MoU will outline the specifics of the collaborative programs and set the framework for future initiatives.
